Beyonce, Maxwell and More Celebrate 40/40 10th Anniversary

In 2003, while the world was still pondering if the rumors of then 19-year-old Beyoncé and veteran rapper Jay-Z, were dating, Hov had a few other big things in the works. The opening of his first club in New York City, 40/40, was one of them. Now, 10 years later, I’m sure he has nothing to worry about – in either department.

Celebrating the successful running of one of his many trades, Jay brought along a few of his celebrity friends as well as Mrs. Carter to showcase his accomplishment. Joined by Maxwell, Adrienne Bailon, Ravaughn, Hip-Hop couple T.I. and Tiny, Fabolous and girlfriend Emily B., as well as many other athletes and stars, this was definitely a celebration to be remembered.

Solange Performs at Bonnaroo & Brooklyn Northside Festival, Brings out Juelz

Solange was a busy girl this weekend. As the summer festival and concert season is fully underway, the 26-year old had a full weekend of performances.

On Saturday, she ventured down to Manchester, TN to rock the 2013 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Sporting some long twists, Solo rocked the stage and had the crowd dancing along to her fan favorites, including hits “Sandcastle Disco” and “Losing You.”

On Sunday, she returned home to Brooklyn for a performance at the Converse Rubber Tracks stage of the Northside Festival. Switching to some even longer braids and a hat, she ran through her set of hits, including her cover of Selena’s “I Could Fall In Love,” and surprised the audience when she brought out her son Juelz to dance along.

R. Kelly Performs at Bonnaroo 2013

R. Kelly brought some grindin music to the stage of the 2013 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival this Saturday. The R&B King closed out the show in Manchester, TN as the headlining act, as he had the crowd jammin to hits such as “Ignition” and “Thoia Thoing.”

Kellz delivered a special treat when he shared the stage with Jim James, Billy Idol, Brittany Howard, and John Oates for a cover of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come.”

“@Bonnaroo #superjam with @jimjames @JohnOates … Epic night,” tweeted Kellz.

Teyana Taylor Shows off Hot Bikini Body

Yikes! She’s at it again. Teyana Taylor is strict about her fitness and in a new batch of photos she posted to Instagram, the 22-year-old flaunted her fit figure while modeling some beach looks in Miami. The Harlem native showed off her toned abs and glistening body in a black bikini while posing by a pool, and standing in the ocean water.

Teyana has started work on her G.O.O.D. Music debut album, she has shared some studio photos, and a Vine video with a new song as well.

She is also collaborating with adidas on her second Harlem GLC sneaker, which will be available on November 29 aka Black Friday. The first one, released in February, sold out immediately online and fetched upwards of $1000 on eBay.

Lyfe Jennings is officially back! Following the release of his impressive new single “Boomerang,” the soulful crooner is prepping for the promo trail leading up to the release of his forthcoming album.

He recently went behind the lens for a new photo shoot for the album. Sporting a mix of dressy and some casual looks, Lyfe posed for shots around a rustic looking office space and outdoors on a country property. On-Set of Bobby V’s “Back To Love” Video Shoot

Over the weekend, Bobby V filmed the music video to his new soulful single “Back To Love.” The visual was shot in Atlanta and directed by G. Visuals.

On his upcoming EP ‘Peach Moon,’ the R&B crooner steps outside of his comfort zone to give fans something different.

“I’ve released 5 albums & I’m tired of doing the same thing,” expresses Bobby. “Since I’ve been playing piano it’s given me a different respect & outlook on being a true musician. On Peach Moon it’s all about the music and we’ve created a really cool vibe that incorporates R&B, Jazz, Soul, & Funk.”

Fantasia and Kelly Rowland have finally shot the music video for their hot collabo “Without Me.” The second single off Tasia’s latest album Side Effects of You.

The R&B divas went in front of the lens earlier this week in Los Angeles, and showed out. Both ladies have been looking absolutely stunning lately and this upcoming video looks to be another stunner.

Beyoncé Radiates In New ‘L’Oréal Paris’ Commercial

The Beyoncé train continues on it’s promo run, as the superstar is featured in yet another television commercial. This time in a new ad spot for her longtime endorsement deal with ‘L’Oréal Paris.’

The R&B diva radiates in the 30 second clip, promoting their latest line of lasting lipstick. To coincide with the colorful line, the commercial is set to Bey’s new summery song “Standing On The Sun,” which she first debuted in her H&M campaign.

She performed the Sia-penned song for the first time live during the Belgium stop of her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” last week. A release date for the official version of the song has not yet been announced. Beyoncé will kick off the U.S. leg of her tour on June 28 at the BET Experience concert in Los Angeles.
