Wrap yourself around new music from Luke James!

Hot off the season two finale of Lee Daniels’ television drama series Star, the R&B crooner surprises fans with the brand new single “These Arms.” The sultry, love-blessed ballad is the follow-up to the Grammy-nominated singer’s soulful 2017 single “Drip.”

Known for his leg-shaking falsetto, Luke comes back strong with the smoldering, bedroom playlist-ready slow jam. Cooing out to a love interest he lays down his sexually stimulating plans. “So sugar tease me, please me, girl, do what you do,” he sings. “I love the view / I just wanna kiss and touch and feel all over you.”

Speaking about the song, Luke tells Billboard: “In life, as I am learning and loving people, I find that trust in vulnerability. I find that [vulnerability] to be something questionable and hard to do. You just never know what someone is thinking. I guess ‘These Arms’ is a song of reassurance. You know?”

It was recently announced that Luke has been picked up for season three of Star for his role as Noah Brooks. In addition to the acting success, Luke James has found a new purpose with his music, so expect more to be on the way, thankfully.
