Following his appearance at the 60th annual GRAMMY Awards, where he was nominated for 2 awards, buzzing Canadian crooner Daniel Caesar traveled overseas to kick off the European leg of his “Freudian World Tour.” After the first stop in Cologne, Germany, the Toronto native pulled in to Paris for his sold-out show at club Yoyo.
The audience was filled with adorning fans of the “Get You” singer, who knew each song word-for-word. His intimate stage set was a cozy atmosphere including rugs and lamps with warm light to compliment the purple and blue hues of the venue’s lighting.
Joined by his 4 member band, Daniel catered to his congregation of fans at times standing front and center at the mic belting out most off his acclaimed debut album Freudian. Other moments he sat on a stool while playing guitar.
Opening with the loosie single “Japanese Denim,” he followed with his soulful H.E.R-assisted duet “Best Part.” After running through his 11-song set, Caesar pleased the crowd when he returned with his hit single “Get You” as the encore song.
Daniel Caesar will be touring through Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia and Australia through March. Check out our exclusive photos below!
