This must be the ‘modern Americana’ that JT was talking about.
For his third release off Man of the Woods, Justin Timberlake has debuted the Chris Stapleton-assisted single “Say Something.”
Directed by La Blogothèque, the single-shot music video opens with Justin in a studio space, where he works on the beat for the acoustic guitar-laden track. Once the production is playing he begins to walk through Los Angeles’ famous Bradbury Building.
Timberlake is then joined by Stapleton, as they play chords together throughout the architectural landmark and trade lines on the chorus. Additional musicians are scattered across the location’s famous stairs and hallways, and as the record peaks a large choir appears to maximize the buildings incredible acoustics.
The Timbaland-produced “Say Something” follows videos for “Supplies” and “Filthy” off the anticipated Man of the Woods, which arrives February 2.
