New Video: Keyshia Cole – Incapable

By

Keyshia Cole just can’t catch a break in the love department. The R&B songstress travels back in time to visualize her latest lovelorn single “Incapable.”

Directed by Mike Ho, the video takes place in an old school speakeasy, where she is spending an evening out with her man. While they appear to be a happy couple, Keyshia quickly overhears that he has been stepping out on her with another woman.

Wearing a sleeveless starch white top and white wide brim hat, KC vents her romantic frustrations from the stage as the whole audience joins in as background singers and dancers.

“It’s time to grow up / I embarrassed myself enough / ‘Cause I wouldn’t leave you / Even my family know the truth,” she sings. “But every time it feels like this could be the last time / Where’s the good in goodbye if I give this one more try? / It’s hard ’cause they say that if it’s true love it never dies.”

In the end, her soon to be ex gets a lap full of drinks as Keyshia walks out with her hands in the air.

On Friday, Cole released another emotional new song with “Best Friend,” which is the third release following “Incapable” and “You,” from her forthcoming new album 11:11 Reset, due out Oct. 20 via Epic Records.
