After shaking up the UK R&B scene with his 2016 EP, The Night Shift — described as an “R&B nugget of gold” by MTV’s The Wrap UP — buzzing R&B sensation Jordan King premieres the music video for his new single, “Do That.”

Written and co-produced by King and RB Keyz, “Do That” had its audio release on August 2 receiving plays on multiple radio stations and an official debut on DJ Ace’s R&B hour aired on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

The fun summer vibe we hear on the track is surely reflected in the visuals. Co-directed by Jamie Alderson and King himself, we are treated to the link up of the summer.

Complete with a BBQ, red cups, a DJ and even King sitting playfully in a basketball net, the video truly sets the scene and has viewers immersed in an original ’90s style summer cookout atmosphere.

“I wanted to make a song people could party to whilst still giving them that authentic R&B vibe,” says Jordan King.

Reminiscent of the laid-back, feel good vibes we all remember from DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince’s much loved “Summertime” video, Jordan has certainly provided the sit back and unwind anthem of this summer.

With “Do That” being the first of many tracks to come from his forthcoming sophomore EP, ‘Broken,’ King is definitely one to watch this year.
