New Music: Anderson .Paak feat. Ty Dolla $ign & ScHoolboy Q – Come Down (Remix)

By

Anderson .Paak had an amazing 2016, thanks to his excellent, breakout album Malibu, and collaborative project Yes Lawd! with producer Knxwledge. Now, the Aftermath singer/rapper delivers a hot remix to standout cut “Come Down.” Produced by Jahlil Beats, .Paak teams up with friends and fellow Cali natives, Ty Dolla $ign and ScHoolboy Q.

Adding his own twist, Ty Dolla pulls inspiration from the original. “So hard to be doing what you’re really meant for,” he sings. “Spread love / Don’t I make it look easy? / Don’t I make it look good?”

Q enters with a rapid-fire delivery, before smoothing it out at the end. “If you drank up all my liquor, come on, now what I’m ‘posed to do now?” he asks. “2-0-1-7 now, ni**as, come on, now you gon’ have to back it up.”

Even more music from Anderson .Paak seems to be on the way, as he was recently spotted in the studio with Bruno Mars, Nile Rodgers, and Guy Lawrence of Disclosure. .Paak and Mars are currently touring together, and apparently they had a special session at Abbey Road studios. Later this year, fans should also expect an album from .Paak and his band, The Free Nationals.
