Watch Teyana Taylor Get Fit in a Luxury NYC Suite for ‘Vogue’

By

After her show-stopping appearance in Kanye West’s “Fade” video, Teyana Taylor has created a similar clip for Vogue.

On Wednesday (Jan. 18), the fashion magazine released a video of G.O.O.D. Music’s First Lady in a suite at New York’s Waldorf Astoria exercising to music by Stelios Phili, much like she did in the “Fade” visual.

The clip begins with Taylor, elegantly dressed in a housecoat by Anna Sui and bustier by Luisa Beccaria, opening a door in her suite. Before long, she takes off her Alberta Ferretti silk skirt to reveal duchesse satin printed shorts.

With squats, sit-ups, push-ups, and some dance moves, Taylor mesmerizes viewers once again. Her sculpted figure, highlighted throughout, is whimsical, carefree, and sexy, all at once.

Joined by her daughter Junie and members of her squad at the end, the visual feels like a fun continuation of her “Fade” journey. Directed by Matt Baron, the video is also meant to highlight Taylor’s commitment to fitness and her upcoming Fade 2 Fit workout program, which is set to launch in February.

“I wanted to share my secret and show everybody how I get my body,” she told Vogue. “Dance is a workout. Dance is fitness.”
