John Legend hopes to deliver big before the end of the year.

The R&B crooner has announced his anticipated, fifth studio album Darkness and Light is due out Dec. 2, and it will go up for pre-order on Friday (Nov. 4).

Legend has also shared the project’s cover art, which features an up-close image of his face in the shadows, shot in a grainy neck-up portrait.

“My new album DARKNESS AND LIGHT featuring #LoveMeNow will be available to pre-order this Friday,” he tweeted. “You ready?”

The singer is also set to hit “Good Morning America” on Friday, for a special appearance in support of the new project.

Fans have already gotten a glimpse of what they can expect through “Love Me Now,” but the project is also expected to feature “Right By You,” a dedication to Legend’s daughter Luna with model Chrissy Teigen.

Darkness and Light, his first album since 2013’s Love in the Future, also includes appearances from Chance the Rapper, Miguel, and Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes.
