New music from Gallant is always welcomed around here. The soaring singer has connected with UK singer/songwriter/producer Knox Brown for a soulful collaboration called “Reignite,” which lives on the soundtrack to new romantic comedy Bridget Jones’ Baby.
The enticing ballad is highlighted by Gallant’s trademark vocals and inspired production by Knox, which borrows from his breakout track “Harry’s Code.”
Speaking about the track Gallant says: “[It] was a pleasure working with Knox on this one for the Bridget Jones soundtrack–never sang anything quite this carnal before… hope it gives people some ideas.”
If those that aren’t familiar with Knox Brown, he has worked with in the studio with Jay Z, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige and others. He recently released his acclaimed debut EP Searching, which features Anderson .Paak, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Kojey Radical.
