3. Natalie La Rose feat. Jeremih – Somebody
This one surprised many. Natalie La Rose was a brand new artist on the scene, and she borrowed a huge hit from one of the greatest of all time – Whitney Houston. It worked out immensely at radio though, and kept Jeremih’s voice in peoples ears on Top 40 stations once again. Whitney’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” was the lead single off her highly anticipated 1987 sophomore album. It reached No. 1 in 13 countries and topped 3 of the U.S. Billboard charts. Jeremih and Natalie’s remake did very well too, reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Rhythmic chart, and Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
