Beyoncé delivered a heartwarming moment during the final night of the first leg of her “Formation World Tour” at Detroit’s Ford Field on Tuesday night (June 14).

Before singing the show’s closer “Halo,” Bey paid tribute to last weekend’s shooting victims in Orlando, Florida.

“This next song is about love,” she said. “And I’d like to dedicate it to all of the family members that had family who lost their lives in Florida.”

Beyoncé also offered her condolences on Instagram.

After closing out the first U.S. leg of the “Formation World Tour,” Queen Bey is taking a couple weeks off before heading overseas for the European portion of the tour, which starts June 28 in the U.K.
