Congrats are definitely in order for singer/model Ciara and her ball playing beau Russell Wilson as the two are now engaged!
While there have been rumors swirling around for some time now about the two potentially being engaged, the Seahawks quarterback confirmed via Instagram moments ago that he proposed and she indeed, obliged.
Captioning a 15-second IG video with, “She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one. No Greater feeling… #TrueLove @Ciara,” Russell then turned the camera to a squealing Ciara showing off her ring. Posting the same video, Ciara captioned: “God Is So Good! I’m so Grateful For You @DangeRussWilson. You Are Truly Heaven Sent, and I’m Looking Forward To Spending Forever With You.”
The two, who have been dating on record since 2015, have been a go-to couple when it comes to having #RelationshipGoals. Although Ciara’s ex-fiancé Future has taken many shots at them throughout their time together, it seems as if they are completely unbothered by the negativity coming from the rapper.
Ciara, who just parted ways with Epic Records, has one son – named after the Atlanta rapper’s stage name.
