Multi-talented singer/songwriter Jayla Darden may only be 18, but she’s definitely got a ’90s R&B soul.
The young artist recently released her new single “Think About Us” during the Valentine’s Day season. Co-produced by herself and Grammy-Award winning producer Henny Tha Bizness, the track begs for the person she loves to think about them being in a relationship together. Over the mid-tempo track her voice glides smoothly as she sings, “Don’t you think about us, baby / I’ve been thinking about, thinking about us baby / I’ve been thinking about us / I could be wrong, but it could be love / Don’t you think about us, baby.”
Previously, Jayla released her debut EP 118 on January 18, 2016 which happened to be her 18th birthday. Each song on the 6-track project is self-penned and features production from herself and Henny Tha Bizness. As a strong introduction to her artistry, it showcases her vocal abilities and her simplistic musical style in all it’s full glory. We can’t wait to see what this potential teen star has in store for fans and music lovers next.
