Tinashe is bringing the heat with a Bullet!
Currently on her “Joyride World Tour,” a new track from the California singer, titled “Bullet,” has leaked. The song contains hard-hitting drums and a simple chorus that is stylistically characteristic of Tinashe’s style. Only she can make a sexy track about a getting the guy that she wants using a bullet with his “name on it.”
On the sultry chorus she sings,”I may not always get what I need / But I get what I want, guaranteed / This bullet got your name on it.”
It’s not clear whether or not this song will appear on her anticipated sophomore album Joyride, but it comes after a string of singles including “Party Favors,” “Ride of Your Life,” “Energy” and “Player” featuring Chris Brown. The R&B star will continue on her tour through May 26 in Australia, while she finishes work on her forthcoming LP.
UPDATE: Another new cut titled “They’re On” produced by DJ Mustard has surfaced as well! Additionally, on tour Tinashe has treated her fans to previews of more new tracks off Joyride. At her show in Montreal, she took a break from dancing to sit on a stool and belt out the brand new song “Fire and Flames.” Take a listen to both tracks and she footage from her performance below.
