Random Wright - Four Letter Words

Indie artist Random Wright makes his official introduction with the release of his debut EP, 4 Letter Words.

The 4-track set includes a collection of songs that fuse R&B, soul, pop, and electro, each conceptualized as a four letter word. The project, which was co-written and produced with Kenneth “KP” Pruitt, is a sampling of the catalog the writing duo, turned indie-label partners, have been curating over the last year. As a listener recently tweeted after hearing it, “if you like flying kites or breaking headboards, this is for you!”

4 Letter Words is the first in a series that their new venture, Innerstate Music Group, plans to release over the coming months in anticipation of Random’s full length album due later this year. It features music from Innerstate’s own KP, The Beat Masons, and Fire Hazard Productions. It is noted for it’s sultry cover of Sade’s classic, “The Sweetest Taboo,” on the track “S A D E.”

For those unfamiliar, Random Wright is an emerging recording artist based out of Los Angeles. Locally, he has frequently been spotted on notable stages such as “R&B Live” and “Singers Night at The Federal.” His music has appeared on BBC Introducing, E! Network’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” and you may also remember Random for being a participant on MTV’s “Making the Band 4.”
