Timbaland, once again, has seen major headlines ever since taking on the task and title of executive music producer for FOX’s record breaking series, “Empire”.
This Christmas, the Grammy Award winning producer will release his first major solo mixtape, King Stays King. Making the project even more anticipated, it is slated to include an unreleased record from his angel above, Aaliyah!
King Stays King is a 16-track project with Timbaland taking the lead on the entire production. Said to captures the classic Timbaland sound, the mixtape will include additional features from breakout artists Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Mila J and more. Throughout the entire mixtape each unforeseen collaboration makes for an extremely cohesive project.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been able to give the world some new music. I’ve spent a lot of time working on this project and I am just looking forward to giving my fans some dope sounds to close out the year,” says Timbaland.
King Stays King will available for download on MyMixtapez.com Friday, December 25.
In January, the producer will embark on a 20 date club tour, performing his new music and classic hits. The mixtape will lead into Tim’s anticipated next full-length album, TEXTBOOK TIMBO, coming in early 2016.
