It’s been just a few days since the release of August Alsina‘s sophomore album, This Thing Called Life, but the work has obviously just begun for the superstar. While August has been no stranger to adversity throughout his life, the young singer encountered a slight fumble with the album the day before its official release with a “leak” from his label, Def Jam.

Amid the issue that appeared the day prior to TTCL‘s release, that had no effect on the love that fans showed Yungin’ when he began his six-city album signing tour in collaboration with urban retailer, DTLR. Making a stop in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, December 12, fans of the R&B star lined the long walkway of South Dekalb Mall to catch a glimpse of him up close and personal.

Dressed in all black, August arrived ready to meet and greet those awaiting his arrival and was all smiles with each and every one of his adoring fans. Limiting no conversation or places to sign, the city of Atlanta – and its surrounding areas – gave an immense amount of support for the talented singer.

This Thing Called Life, which was released December 11, is on track to sell between 30,000 and 35,000 units within its first week.
