Adele’s comeback is in full effect. With just a few days until her third album 25 hits stores, the singer sat down with “60 Minutes Australia” for a candid interview. She opened up about her return to music (“There was quite a long period where I didn’t believe in myself”), fears (“I get really nervous, I’m scared. I don’t want to disappoint them”), and her big voice (“No one ever told me to shut up”).
And for the first time, she performed a soaring new ballad called “When We Were Young,” live at The Church Studios, on which she reminisces about an old flame.
“It was just like a movie, it was just like a song…when we were young,” she sings.
Adele will tape an NBC special at Radio City Music Hall on Tuesday and can be seen on this weekend’s episode of “SNL.”
