Throwback Thursday: Kevon Edmonds – 24/7

By

Kevon Edmonds is a singer and actor, and also the younger brother of the legendary Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. Growing up, Kevon shied away from the church choir, preferring to sing for his own satisfaction. Kevon was originally a member of After 7 before enjoying some successes as a solo artist. He earned himself a platinum album, ‘24/7‘ as well as several gold singles.

During Kevon’s solo success, After 7 decided to pursue their own personal projects and have since reunited. “24/7” was the lead single and title track from his debut solo album. The single went gold and reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Kevon sings about never knowing a love like the one he knows now and wanting to spend every day and minute with that person. He also proves why he is one of the best tenors in the game.
