Indie: K’Neisha Releases New Single “Next Time”

Bred in the churches of Mississippi, soulstress K’Neisha first honed her skills playing the piano and singing in her church’s choir. From there she started from a small corner in her garage recording her own material, but K’Neisha has a big sound that’s getting out to the world.

Right now people in her corner of the map are starting to know her name and she is getting booked to perform across her home state, thanks to her new single “Next Time.” The soul baring, heartwarming tune finds K’Neisha delivering a candid take on a love that she can’t wait to see again.

“I was born in a small town called Hattiesburg, Mississippi and I was raised in Williamsburg, and you might say I started off singing in the church and I started piano lessons when I was about 7 years old,” K’Neisha explained. “One of my gifts has been for me to make music, and I want to keep it going. I have a lot of influences from the past and the 90s, I look up to a lot of gospel singers, but Chaka Khan and Michael Jackson were really my biggest influences.”
