Bell Biv DeVoe is a R&B group that branched off from New Edition. It consists of three members: Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe. Their debut album Posion was certified 4x Platinum, topped the R&B Albums chart and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
“When Will I See You Smile Again?” was issued as the fourth single off the album. The song peaked at No. 63 on the Billboard Hot 100. Bell, Bivins, and DeVoe sing out their apology to their significant other. Taking full blame for their actions, they ask their ladies when will they see their beautiful smiles again.
