Janelle Monáe and her new artist Jidenna helped kick off the party early at the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday. Flexing in a white bodysuit with black accents, Monáe was surrounded by masked dancers as she delivered her sexy single “Yoga.”
Soon after her Wondaland protégé Jidenna joined her — looking dapper in a zoot suit and cane — for his single “Classic Man,” along with a street team equipped with signs that read, “I’m a classic man.”
Both songs can be found on Wondaland’s upcoming compilation, The Eephus, due out August 14. The six-track EP also features Wondaland artists Roman GianArthur, St. Beauty, and Deep Cotton.
