Grammy Award winning songstress Lalah Hathaway has announced that she will be performing an intimate concert on April 21 at the legendary Troubadour Theater in Los Angeles, and the performance will be released as a live concert recording for her seventh album, due out Fall 2015.

Hosting this recording at the Troubadour is significant for Lalah because it is where her father, iconic soul singer Donny Hathaway, recorded half of his classic 1972 offering Live. She says, “I have aspired to the greatness of Donny Hathaway Live my entire life. This is an amazing full circle moment for me!”

A limited amount of tickets for Lalah Hathaway LIVE! are available to the public and can be purchased at Ticketfly.

In addition, Lalah recently performed at the 2015 “Black Girls Rock!” special, appearing alongside Tracee Ellis Ross, Regina King, First Lady Michelle Obama, Fantasia, Faith Evans and more. Black Girls Rock! premieres on BET this Sunday, April 5 at 7PM.
