Last summer, we the pleasure of introducing our readers to a young lady by the name of Jo’zzy when her single “Tryna Wife” made its way to our ears. Featuring Timabaland and Ma$e, the single quickly became one of our favorite summer tracks and is still played around our office 8 months later.
Now, the singer-songwriter has released a 9-track project for fans to get a better feel of what she’s all about. Showcasing her skills on each track, the new mixtape is a good collaborative effort ’90s and current day tracks to vibe out to. While Jo’zzy is known for being behind the pen, the Memphis native is taking her chance with doing it for herself this time around. Hosting singles such as “Go Hard,” “Kissing You” – which serves as a remix to the famed ’90s track by former Bad Boy girl group Total – “Throw Shade,” and more, ‘Twenty90stoo‘ holds true to Jo’zzy’s self-proclaimed “Dope By Accident” movement.
