It’s been an exceptional start to the year for John Legend and Common, who closed out the 57th Grammy Awards on Sunday night, with their powerful song “Glory,” from the film Selma.

After winning ‘Best Original Song’ at the Golden Globes, and being nominated for ‘Original Song’ at the upcoming 87th Academy Awards, the singer and rapper/actor delivered an outstanding performance of the stand for justice song, after Beyoncé took the audience to church with her rendition of “Take My Hand, Precious Lord.”

John belted out the soulful, empowering lyrics while playing the piano laden track, as a full string section added chills behind Common’s commanding verses.

The duo will perform the song next at the Oscars on Feb. 22 at 7PM on ABC. Watch their soul stirring performance below!
