Mary J. Blige‘s acclaimed new album The London Sessions hit stores earlier this month, and continuing with the promotion the R&B icon has released the second video performance from her special Capitol “1 Mic, 1 Take” session.
In the black-and-white clip, Blige belts out the stirringly heartfelt song “Not Loving You,” which was written by Sam Smith.
“Always hopeful that I’ll make a change, what’s that about? / It weights so heavy, so heavy on my heart / So what you gonna do now, now that you’re falling, you’re falling down / There’s only so much I can do,” she sings with a heavy heart.
