As previously reported, Rihanna is getting into the charity circuit to raise funds for The Clara Lionel Foundation, which she started in 2012. The foundation – which is named after her grandparents – works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, arts, and culture. On Thursday night, the Pop megastar held the inaugural “Diamond Ball” at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills, California, to benefit the growing charity.

The upscale, swanky affair brought out celebrity guests such as Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Brad Pitt, Jimmy Kimmel, Big Sean – who performed his latest hit “I Don’t F**k With You,” Tyrese, Salma Hayek, Terrence J and many more.

RiRi wowed the cameras on the red carpet in a crimson satin dress by Zac Posen and stunning Chopard necklace. She was supported by her family, including both her parents and her grandfather Lionel Braithwaite.

Brad Pitt had the duty of introducing Rihanna’s special performance to the audience, which found her conducting an orchestra and performing a medley of some of her biggest hits including “Diamonds,” “Pour It Up,” “Umbrella,” and “Run This Town.”

“One of the greatest benefits of my job was being able to start the Clara Lionel Foundation in honor of my grandparents,” said Rihanna. “There is truly nothing I’m more proud of and we’ve just gotten started. I’m excited to continue my work and thrilled to be able to host the Diamond Ball – a night that promises to be elegant and inspirational.”
