Young R&B newcomer Anthony Lewis is taking yet another page from the book of the past. Finding fame with his remake of Soul For Real’s “Candy Rain,” A. Lewis is back to double up on hits from the ’90s. Taking on Mint Condition’s 1991 hit “Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)” this time around, it seems as if the L.A. native has found a home in remaking some of the classics.
While the lyrics to the famed single are the same, Anthony – with the help of production duo Da Internz – manages to add his young and hip flare on to the timeless track. Continuing to prove that he’s one of his generations more talented singers, fans of the up and coming singer should feel confident to know that he’ll be around for some time to come.
