New Music: Mary J. Blige – When You’re Gone

Mary J. Blige When You're Gone

Mary J. Blige continues to give listeners more from her upcoming new album The London Sessions. The R&B Queen returns with an emotional song titled “When You’re Gone,” over a beautiful acoustic backdrop by Eg White (Adele).

On the strong, contemporary ballad MJB opens up her heart about missing that special someone who is no longer around.

“When you’re gone, I miss ya like I did when we were first together / No one in this world could ever hold be better / Just tell me when you’re coming home,” sings Mary.

The London Sessions will hit stores in the U.S. on December 2. It has already spawned the singles “Right Now,” “Therapy,” “Whole Damn Year” and “Nobody But You.” You can pre-order the album on iTunes now.
