Mary J. Blige Performs “Therapy” at AMAs

Mary J. Blige might have her new album The London Sessions hitting stores in the U.S. next week, but the R&B Queen brought viewers of the 2014 American Music Awards a different type of session on Sunday night.

Dressed in all black, MJB brought down the house performing her soulful new single “Therapy,” as her friend and the song’s co-writer, Sam Smith, cheered her on from the front row.

“Such an honor to witness this legend sing one of my songs tonight,” wrote the British crooner. “Thank you for guiding me and being such an amazing friend.”
