Trey Songz is looking to put his knowledge and experience to good use as he continues to grow as an artist and business man. The R&B heartthrob has announced a new partnership with Artists Publishing Group, founded by industry executive Mike Caren, to discover and nurture songwriters, producers and artists.

Hot on the heels of his No. 1 album Trigga, the singers new venture, Tucker Songz Publishing, will see producer Sterling Brim and Forrest Tucker serving as the prime liaisons alongside Songz and APG CEO Caren, according to an announcement via Billboard.

“As I grew as an artist, I had the opportunity to work with several well known producers and writers,” Songz said in a statement. “I recognize that not everyone has access to that, but that they still have raw talent that can be harnessed into greatness. That’s exactly what I intend to do with this new publishing company.”

Trey recently released the music video for his latest single “What’s Best For You,” and announced he is planning a fall tour with Chris Brown.
