After an all-music show last week, DJ Carisma and Abby De La Rosa returned on Monday night for a brand new episode of “The Cookie Jar.” Last night the ladies were joined in TheMixShow studios by rising singer Kehlani, who caught our ear in April with her song “FWU.”
The 19-year-old Bay Area native spoke about her movement and buzz, her start in music getting hooked up through Tony Toni Toné’s sons at a performing arts school, wanting to be on Broadway, her influences, advice from Nick Cannon who has been her mentor following America’s Got Talent and much more.
As always Carisma spun the hottest and sexiest in current R&B along with some throwbacks, while Abby asked all the juicy questions.
