One of our favorite new radio friendly records of the moment now has an accompanying video. Released just about a week ago, emerging teen singer Derek King teams up with fellow Bay Area rapper IAMSU! for the visual to their infectious new song “What It Do.”
Set in a local park, the SUJ-directed video brings that feel-good Young California vibe, as Derek, SU, Sage the Gemini and more party and chill out with their homies, chasing after girls with water guns and playing Basketball.
Derek makes sure to keep his pretty young thing close as they take a ride by the water in his grey Mustang. Oh to be young again.
