Wasting no time on the promotion for his brand new single “Money Can’t Buy,” Ne-Yo paid a visit to Power 105.1 to talk with ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Tuesday morning.

Stating that his new album is 99.998% R&B based, the singer-songwriter spoke about his reasons for consciously keeping the album as much as R&B as possible to pay homage to his roots, but not completely abandoning all the fans he’s reached by making EDM tracks.

Throughout the convo Ne-Yo spoke about working with Celine Dion, his thoughts on the Michael Jackson hologram performance at the Billboard Music Awards, being a VP of A&R at Motown Records, starting to smoke marijuana recently, how being a father affects his music and when he will be ready to finally get married.

In addition, he confirmed that his album, which is supposedly titled Non Fiction, is currently due out Sept. 30.
