Mariah Debuts New Song, Kicks Off ‘Today’ ‘Summer Concert Series’

It didn’t feel like summer is almost here in NYC, but Mariah Carey helped kick off the ‘Today’ show ‘Summer Concert Series‘ in Rockefeller Plaza on Friday morning.

Following an official introduction for casual viewers to reaffirm her massive accomplishments over her legendary career, the Pop diva hit the stage to her playful single “Touch My Body.” Following with her classic hit “Always Be My Baby,” the Elusive Chanteuse, as she calls herself now, had a surprise in-store. Taking the national opportunity Mariah premiered a brand new song titled “You Don’t Know What To Do,” featuring Wale, who made a guest appearance. As her background dancers roller skated on stage, Mimi belted out the tune, which has a classic disco soul vibe and it sounded very good!

Mariah is prepping for the release of her 14th studio album, Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse, which will hit stores on May 27.
