Mariah Carey doesn’t seem to be the least bit upset about the reported dismal first week sales of her brand new album Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse. The heavenly voiced diva made a point to do something regular (sort of) and less elusive on Thursday night as she surprised onlookers when she hit the streets of NYC in a gorgeous gown and rode the subway!
After she attended the 2014 Fresh Air Fund ‘Honoring Our American Heroes’ Gala, Mimi decided to have some fun, running through the city in a baby blue, floor-length gown and hopped a ride on the #1 train.
Not only did she post pics of her train ride on Instagram with the caption, “Glimpses of our joyride on the 1 train #subwayincouture,” she uploaded a series of Vine clips including leaving her building and walking to the subway.
“I figured since I’m under-dressed we might just take the subway,” she jokingly said.
