It’s time to turn the lights on and get ready for Rico Love‘s arrival to the front of the camera!

Known as the writer to many of today’s hottest singles, the singer-songwriter is getting his chance to be behind the mic and in front of the camera. Taking to Power 105’s ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Monday, Rico shed light on his journey and decision to be the artist of focus this time around opposed to just penning the hot tracks.

Touching on his work with artists such as Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Trey Songz, and of course Usher, Mr. Turn The Lights On, told Angela and Envy (Charlamagne was out) that his records come from portions of his life. When asked how difficult it is to now have to decide to keep records or give them to his established roster of artists, Rico responded that the subject matters are completely different.

Currently holding one of this years hottest tracks in the palm of his hand, Rico’s quickly becoming one of today’s most sought after artists as well as writer/producer.
