It’s about to be a R&B dance party! DJ Cassidy premieres the anticipated music video for his new single “Calling All Hearts” featuring Robin Thicke & Jessie J.
The celebrity DJ looks to bring the universal party sounds of R&B’s disco years back to the airwaves and dance floors with his forthcoming debut album Paradise Royale, lead by the groovy single which includes instrumentation by the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire; Nile Rodgers of Chic and more.
The X-directed video was shot in London and features a 13-piece band, performing on a 52 square-foot pink lacquer heart-shaped stage. British sensation Jessie J cozies up to Robin Thicke, while Cassidy rocks the CDJ’s in a lime green tuxedo jacket and his signature 1920’s boater hat.
“I set out on a mission to bring the greatest and most universal dance music of all time back to the airwaves, back to nightlife, back to the dance floor,” said Cassidy. The forthcoming Paradise Royale will include features from R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Usher, CeeLo Green, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Kelly Rowland, Estelle, Passion Pit and Chromeo.
