Throwback Tuesday: Ginuwine – “I’ll Do Anything / I’m Sorry”

By

Ginuwine has contributed so much to R&B since he burst onto the scene in the ’90s.  Today his catalog features some of the greatest records of that era through the early 2000s.

“I’ll Do Anything / I’m Sorry” was the fourth single released from his double-platinum debut album The Bachelor. The track samples Stevie Wonder’s classic song “Visions.”  The album displayed to the world Ginuwine’s powerful voice, sharp songwriting, and excellent production from none other than super-producer Timbaland. The music video for “I’ll Do Anything/”I’m Sorry,” shot by director Billie Woodruff, also features cameos from a young Missy Elliott and Timbaland.  The Bachelor album launched Ginuwine into the public eye and made him a bona fide sex symbol. Enjoy the video!

**Fun Fact: Did you know that Jodeci’s DeVante Swing discovered Ginuwine, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Playa, and Tweet?
