Leela James caught us all off guard with the release of her excellent new single “Say That” featuring Anthony Hamilton. The soulful, infectious duet is the lead single off James forthcoming album, which is due out in early 2014.
Just in time for the holidays, the singer/songwriter unveils the equally good music video, which finds Leela and Anthony in a studio setting as she pens and records the love-filled song.
TV One announced this week that Leela James has been added to season 2 of R&B Divas LA. She will star alongside fellow newbie Chrisette Michele, and returning cast members Chanté Moore, Lil’ Mo, Michel’le, and Claudette Ortiz. The show will follow James as she gears up to launch her forthcoming album, in addition to giving never-seen-before access to her personal life.
