#MusicMondays is in full effect this morning! For after 10 weeks of some pretty dope tracks and collabs, Justin Bieber returns with his second uptempo cut.

Closing out the #MusicMondays series with the Verse Simmonds penned track, “Confident,” Biebs calls on Chicago rap artist, Chance the Rapper for a little help. With lyrics like, “Then she started dancing, sexual romancing/ Nasty but she fancy, lipstick on my satin sheets,” there should be no more confusion about the grown man Bieber has turned in to, and the women he’s romancing.

With all of these great R&B laced tracks Biebs is dropping, it’s no surprise that he would be gearing up for an upcoming release for fans. Announcing today that the tracks released via his #MusicMonday series will be compiled for a temporary release, Justin says the album will be called Journals. The album, which will be available from December 16 – January 1, 2014, will not only feature songs, but a few videos and the trailer for the upcoming movie. News also dropped that a video for today’s track can be expected at the top of 2014 along with news of his next album.

Got all of that? While it’s processing, take a listen to “Confident” below and see the list of tracks to be expected on the Journals album:

#1 on iTunes U.S and other countries, still climbing around the rest of the world. I think it’s time we give Justin Bieber the pass to jump into R&B. All 10 tracks were dope, and were R&B, this one being a mix of R&B/hip hop. Just get the image of him being 15 and singing “Baby” back in 2009 out of your heads, and give a listen to the  dope R&B tracks he is making now.
