New Music: Justin Bieber – Heartbreaker

Justin Bieber Heartbreaker

As promised Justin Bieber returns with the first release from his new ‘#MusicMondays’ series.  The 19-year-old has made headlines with his love life and relationship with Selena Gomez, and now he’s turning his pain into a song. The teen idol puts it all out there on “Heartbreaker,” a vulnerable slow jam, produced by Maejor Ali, T-Minus, and Chef Tone, which was inspired by his past relationship.

“It’s a song for people going through a heartbreak—like I was when I wrote it,” he explained. “It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am going through, with my fans. I’m very proud of this song and I hope it gives my fans some insight into my heart.”

He plans to drop a new single, or “journal” as he calls it, every Monday for the next 10 weeks leading up to the release of the Believe movie.

The record might sound familiar to those of you that have heard Eric Bellinger’s buzz-worthy mixtape “Born II Sing Vol. III,” which features the same track for his song “What You Want.”

Take a listen to both tracks below, and tell us which one you prefer…
