While promoting his hit comeback single “Somebody Else” featuring Nicki Minaj, Mario paid a visit to the Angie Martinez Show on Hot 97.
The R&B vocalist spoke about the success of the song after being away for a few years. He spoke about the meaning of ‘Fatal Distraction’ which is expected to be the next single off his forthcoming album. The song came from a real life experience he went through when he was dating his managers ex-girlfriend.
Mario also spoke about growing up in Baltimore and his mothers struggle with drug addiction. He revealed the upcoming album is 95% finished, and it is scheduled to be released on September 17!
