Chrisette Michele packed the house to capacity at the CoverGirl Superlounge during the ESSENCE Music Festival on Friday. Following an introduction from Janelle Monaé, the soulful songstress delighted fans with a hour and a half set, backed by her full band.
In a short, black lace dress, Chrisette treated the audience to hit songs, fan favorites and album cuts spanning her 4 LP’s, including her latest singles, “Charades” and “A Couple of Forevers.”
It was a set to remember for the Long Island native’s many followers, and any general lovers of R&B/Soul who took the time to visit the special Superlounge show.
