Trey Songz Honored at The Recording Academy Honors Dinner, Tribute by Ne-Yo

Trey Songz has been taking some time for himself following the release of his latest album Chapter V. While, he is working on other projects and quietly recording new material, the R&B superstar was honored by the Recording Academy this Tuesday.

Trey was presented the award by manager & mentor Kevin Liles, and was honored with a musical tribute from his friend and collaborator Ne-Yo, who gave an incredible performance of Trey’s hit single “Can’t Be Friends.”

Ne-Yo recently spoke about the possibility of the two crooners working together in the near future, and now that they are actually real neighbors in L.A., we should expect to hear some new collaborations soon.
