Usher has been prepping for his acting role, portraying legendary boxing icon Sugar Ray Leonard, in the upcoming film Hands of Stone. While, he recently told Jay Leno that he has yet to get in the actual ring with Leonard, the two exchanged some fun punches on the red carpet.
The R&B superstar attended the B. Riley & Co. and The Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation 4th Annual “Big Fighters, Big Cause” Charity Fight Night, to benefit The Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation.
The annual event, which was catered by Sabra, raises awareness and supports Juvenile Diabetes Research and the Wounded Warrior Project. Tommy Davidson served as the Master of Ceremonies for the prestigious private Red Carpet event at the Santa Monica Pier featuring a Professional Boxing Fight Card commissioned by the California State Athletic Commission.
