Justin Timberlake Announces Release Date of ‘The 20/20 Experience’ Sequel + World Tour

Justin Timberlake has been on fire since his return to music earlier this year, and he is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The pop superstar has announced a September release date for the rumored second part to his widely successful The 20/20 Experience album.


JT shared the news on Instagram this Sunday, revealing an official release date of September 30. “The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) Sept. 30th,” he wrote on a piece of paper, while rehearing in the studio.

?uestlove of The Roots had previously leaked the news of the follow-up project, saying that it would drop this November with 10 new songs. “spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now…..10 songs later= 20 vision),” he wrote in a forum post.

The first installment of 20/20 is currently No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 1.5 million copies in the US alone since its March release.

Timberlake will hit the road with Jay-Z on the “Legends of the Summer” tour, beginning July 17 in Toronto. He also announced his official solo world tour, which kicks off his October and will run through 2014.

Tickets go on sale in select markets beginning May 13 at 10 a.m. local time. Timberlake’s new fan club, The Tennessee Kids, will have access to a pre-sale starting on May 7 at 10 a.m. local time. See the tour dates below:
