The new year is right around the corner, and before we know it, Beyoncé will be taking over once again. Her upcoming, historic performance at Super Bowl XLVII’s halftime show will be her biggest stage yet, and she wants fans to be apart!
Beginning today, Beyoncé and Pepsi launched a contest for fans to submit photos of themselves striking “poses” in hopes of being selected for a chance to appear in an on-air introduction welcoming Bey to the stage for the Halftime Show.
Pepsi will put out the call by taking over Times Square with digital billboards. Fans who visit www.pepsi.com/halftime will be given a series of poses to photograph, including head bopping, feet tapping, and hips shaking.
If that wasn’t enough, 50 lucky fans who submit their photos by January 11 will be entered for a chance to win an unforgettable on-field experience. They will be able to bring a friend to New Orleans, participate in dress rehearsals, and be a part of the Halftime Show’s on-field dance team on Super Bowl Sunday.
Earlier this month, Beyoncé and Pepsi announced details of their $50 million partnership, which includes a worldwide advertising campaign, limited-edition line of soda cans, and a multimillion-dollar fund to support the singer’s creative endeavors.
The Pepsi Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show will air live from New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome on February 3.
