Ashanti brought her holiday cheer to morning TV when she stopped by “Live! with Kelly and Michael” to perform Donny Hathaway’s classic “This Christmas.” The R&B diva sleighed the cut which she covered on her 2003 holiday album Ashanti’s Christmas.
In related news, Ashanti has joined the cast of the Lifetime series “Army Wives.” Her delayed new album Braveheart is coming next year.
